VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

We portray one of the most famous Civil War infantry regiments — “The Rock of Erin” — that repulsed Pickett’s Charge at the Battle of Gettysburg and fought in nearly every major battle of the Civil War.

As a unit, we have many years of knowledge and expertise to pass on to those interested in sharing the reenacting experience. This experience enables us to maintain and teach proper, safe, and authentic conduct in camp and on the battle field.

We are dedicated to an accurate portrayal of the 69th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, emphasizing authenticity in uniform, weapons, military tactics and drill, camp life and proper military conduct.

Our goals are to honor the memory of the men and women who fought and served in the American Civil War and to educate both ourselves and the general public about the Civil War and the lives of Civil War soldiers and their families through an authentic presentation of living history activities, including battle field reenactments and other programs.

If you are interested in joining the 69th PVI, contact Major David Grace at captgrace@hotmail.com or Lieutenant Curt Hudelson at Lt.69th@Hudelson.com. We will also explain the uniform and equipment you’ll need to correctly portray a member of the 69th PVI.

You can also find out more about the 69th PVI by checking out our Facebook page.

We hope you’ll join us!

Huzzah!
